About this model
Grant and Gavin Hawk are knife makers with a unique since of design and have established a relationship with Chris Reeve over the years. They came up with the Ti-Lock mechanism and worked with Chris Reeve to engineer it and integrate it with a Chris Reeve knives product. A unique lock the gold anodized aluminum stud is held with spring tension from the blue titanium piece on top of the blade. The stud then rides the arc of the knife's end till it finds its stopping point in the titanium frame. The lock is an elegant system and can be used by either hand. The knife frame is .125 in thick titanium slabs with an oversized pivot. Unique, innovative pocket clip allows for pocket carry. Each year, CRK is doing a limited special run of the Ti-Lock. This first one has an almost steampunk vibe and is set off with a blue sapphire inlay.
